Singing, marching, and union activism (oh my!)
Great to see a huge turnout at yesterday's Ottawa Labour Day March and Parade. #Harden4ONDP activists sang old union hymns, and joined in ACORN chants.
A personal highlight, however, was talking to Jan Fraser (President, OCETFO) and Jack Wynter (a leader of the 1950 railway workers strike that won the first five day, forty hour work week).
Solidarity forever my friends! An injury to one is still an injury to all.
