We're in a state of emergency, tell the Premier to recall the legislature

<p>Dear Premier Ford,</p> <p>I am writing to ask that you immediately reconvene the Ontario legislature so that relief measures can be brought forward to support the people of Ottawa and across the province who have been subjected to sustained harassment and violence by the "freedom convoy".</p> <p>The situation in Ottawa demands your immediate action:</p> <ul> <li>The Ottawa police are reporting a coordinated attempt by protestors to flood our 911 line with fake calls.</li> <li>Organizers of the convoy are encouraging their supporters to form "convoy circles" around public schools, which will endanger our children.</li> <li>Members of our community have suffered a suspected arson attempt, and they desperately need support.</li> <li>Workers and small businesses have lost weeks of income and they need immediate financial help.</li> </ul> <p>The people of Ottawa need to see their government working to end this occupation of our city. I am calling on you to immediately reconvene the legislature so that emergency supports for our city can be debated, including taking action to revoke the licenses of convoy participants blocking our streets and economic relief measures.</p> <p>Signed,</p>
