Andrea Horwath and I have written to Health Minister Christine Elliott asking her to immediately revoke the January 13 critical care triage protocol that was sent to hospitals, and consult disability rights groups on a document that addresses their concerns.
People have a right to know what hospitals are being told in the event of a major COVID surge, who is telling them to do so, and to be consulted so that any triage protocol respects the human rights of all Ontarians.
